By now you know that Local 1180 has reached an agreement with the City in our EEO case, and the federal court judge has given preliminary approval to that settlement. However, now we need your approval to move forward and take the next steps needed to get you paid. On Tuesday, April 23 (next week) at 6:00 p.m., we will be hosting a SPECIAL MEETING for Administrative Managers NM to review the settlement language and have you sign the necessary papers. Notaries will be at the meeting to make the process easier for you. Written notices of the settlement agreement are being mailed to each Administrative Manager NM this week, so please check your mailbox. In addition, we will have copies of the notice at the meeting. The April 23 meeting will afford us the opportunity to not only explain the settlement language and the process moving forward, but answer all your questions. We implore ALL ADMIN MANAGERS NM to attend this meeting! Here are all the important facts about the meeting: Meeting Date: Tuesday, April 23, 2019 Meeting Time: 6:00 p.m. but please arrive earlier in order to sign in Location: United Federation of Teachers, 52 Broadway, 2nd Floor Auditorium ONLY ADMIN MANAGERS NM will be allowed at the meeting. Please bring your prescription card containing the bar code in order to sign in upon arrival. This will verify you are an Admin Manager NM and sign you in properly. Please be sure to bring a photo identification, such as a Drivers' License, Official New York State ID, or your City ID. You will need a photo id in order to sign the papers in front of the notary as is required. Please bring verification of your dates as an Administrative Manager. If you are an active member, click here for the employment self-service online (NYCAPS). If you are a retired Admin Manager, please contact the last agency you worked for and request verification. If you cannot obtain it, we will help you after our meeting. Please be sure to RSVP if you plan to attend this meeting, which again, we highly encourage you to do. We must have a fairly accurate headcount of who will be in attendance in order to plan for adequate space and food.
